Some 40 votes were cast within the first day of our favorite pizza poll, which ultimately ended with more than 100 votes cast and one decisive winner.
For the third year in a row, Nancy’s Towne House has won our favorite pizza poll. The Main Street institution has never finished worse than second.
Everyone loves pizza, which is probably why we’ve done an annual favorite pizza poll on the site. Although there’s been one consistent winner in our Rahway poll, it is interesting to see the changes in results each year.
The NJ.com Munchmobile’s recent visit to Nancy’s Towne House got me thinking that it’s long overdue for a reader poll on the blog.
So, we’re back with our most popular annual poll:

There are two things that people will remember about 2013 (at least according to traffic on this site): the hotel closing and the mayor resigning. If you look at the Google Analytics for 2013, the graph has a steady pace until September when it shoots up like a rocket and then comes back to Earth. Of course, there were other things that occurred in 2013, like construction under way on the 116-unit Metro Rahway and pending completion of another project, the 108-unit Meridia Water’s Edge.
