Redevelopment meetings shift to Hamilton Stage

The Redevelopment Agency has changed the venue for its meetings, moving from City Hall to the new Hamilton Stage for the Performing Arts.

The seven-member board typically meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, however, commissioners held their December meeting at the new $6-million arts complex at 360 Hamilton St.

Redevelopment Director Peter Pelissier last week suggested the complex might be more appropriate and more conducive to meetings since he no longer has an office in City Hall. He resigned as city administrator in December but will remain as redevelopment director.

The agency next will meet on Feb. 6, and the meeting schedule for the remainder of 2013 can be found on the city’s website.
