City Council tabled two ordinances to acquire three lots at the corner of Irving Street and Seminary Avenue Monday night while approving a contract for environmental services on the parcels.

The Planning Board accepted a draft master plan re-examination — the first comprehensive one in 20 years — identifying potential areas of the city for future redevelopment and presenting recommendations.
The Planning Board on Wednesday unanimously determined that six properties just outside the Central Business District (CBD) Redevelopment Area, including the former St. Mark’s Church lot, qualify for redevelopment under the state’s Local Housing and Redevelopment Law.
