Tonight we’re bringing back the poll after a months-long absence and letting you vote: What was the biggest story of 2008 on the blog? Obviously, the decline in the housing market and the collapse of the economy in general had an effect locally, but what was the most significant development locally?

Luciano’s really is great. It’s become a favorite of ours. We’re looking forward to checking it out on weekend nights when they supposedly have a dj etc…
I voted for the Carriage City Plaza. Whether or not it turns out to be a success, and despite all of the stalled hype about the new businesses that are supposed to be moving in, it’s the biggest news for Rahway in 2008 IMO.
