Here’s a quick look at some retail and commercial turnover around town in the third quarter of 2016 (and then some):

Wet Ticket Brewing hosted a soft opening on Saturday, featuring four beers brewed on premises and merchandise. The local production brewery, with a tasting room fronting Main Street, plans to open for good in the coming weeks, according to its Facebook page, with plans to sell growlers starting on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Wet Ticket took about 3,600 square feet at 1435 Main St., splitting a space in the old Woolworth building previously occupied by The Gilded Lillie Rahway Auction. The auction house shifted into smaller space to the right of the brewery.

Some other spots that have new tenants, or plan to have new tenants:

• Laurie’s Creative Cakes opened in September along a brief retail stretch of Jaques Avenue near Walters Street. The bakery sells cakes, cupcakes and pastries. The hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to its Facebook page.
• A new barber shop, Barber Gods, opened in September at 71 E. Milton Ave. in a space formerly occupied by a check cashing operation.
• Sound-o-rama vacated its space at 1483 Main St. A sign in the window a few weeks ago indicated that it will reopen as an apparel and accessories shop called The Litehouse.
• Renovations have been going on inside the former Skaff Pharmacy space at the corner of Main and East Cherry streets. Banners in the windows of the building indicate a fresh fish market is planned for the space. It’s been two years since Skaff Pharmacy moved into new construction in a St. Georges Avenue strip mall.
