Luciano’s set to open

Luciano’s, which from the outside has looked like it was ready for business quite some time ago, is expected to officially open in January.
The 250-seat Italian restaurant at the corner of Main and Monroe streets will host some parties during the remainder of this year.

Parking will be available across the street, where a car wash and a Blimpie’s once stood.

Riverview at Rahway, the 14 apartments on the upper floors, have temporary certificates of occupancy and are all rented; people have been moved in for about six months. The interior of the restaurant, which includes a piano bar and lounge, is supposed to be gorgeous, according to the rave reviews from those who’ve been inside.

  1. Parking across the street might scare off some potential brides, but if they have good valet parking it should be OK. Hopefully they won’t hire George Costanza to do it!
