Koza’s demolition coming

The developer of the former Koza’s Bar property told the Zoning Board of Adjustment that he’s working on demolition of the building, which could begin this month.

Vincent Ginesi Sr. said he expects to commence construction by the summer on a two-story, nine-unit condo complex. The Zoning Board gave final site plan approval during its meeting last month.

Preliminary approval was granted in October after the board rejected an original plan for 12 units in December 2007.

Just less than one acre (0.8781), the property on West Scott Avenue sold for $500,000 in October, according to PropertyShark.com. The site was assessed at $352,800 in 2007 and paid about $15,320 in property taxes in 2006.

  1. Has anyone used the new Skyview Dry cleaners yet? I was thinking about going this weekend but am always weary of new establishments. I usually go to the place on the corner of Irving and Grand.
