The project has eliminated a short portion of Montgomery Street from Monroe to East Grand (photo above) as planned.

It seems like all of these new apartment buildings are being made as one/two bedrooms. My friends and I would love to share one of these new downtown apartments (I'm a life-long resident, they are not) a couple years from now, but we'd need a three-bedroom. Oh well, maybe things will change...
Hello, Does anyone have a photo of what this building will look like? Why would they build a five story building next to a senior housing complex? I foresee some of the residents in the area relocating.
I don't think I have any sketches but I'll see if I can get one. Riverton is more an assisted-living type of facility and not quite senior housing (like Park Terrace near Rahway River Park). If I recall, it's probably like three stories itself; I'm not sure why seniors would relocate because of a 5-story building next door?
J-L,
Usually the reason is to avoid adding kids to the school district wit new construction, so keep them one- and two-bedrooms.
